In "My Half a Life", the actor Vladimir Karamazov steps off the stage to stand behind the pen.
This is an account of the movement in my life. I am Vladimir Karamazov. An actor. Now I will enter a new role - that of a storyteller. One of the important things in our life is to move forward - physically and mentally. So we can end up in places we've only dreamed of. By steadfastly following the curves of our life's path, we realize the meaning of our existence. Movement is power! Whether we take small steps or big steps, the important thing is to not stop.
The stories in this book are simple and show how a person constantly tries to find the meaning, to get to the essence of things. How one achieved dream becomes a springboard for the next one! And as always in such stories, it all begins with a childish thought that settles comfortably in our head and every night before we go to sleep, it reminds us of itself and waits to turn into a dream and later a goal. I, the actor, tell about these moments by tracing half of my life. What I've been inspired by, what I've achieved (or haven't), what I still want...
I wrote some of these texts more than ten years ago. But this is how I feel the dynamics in my path and the hunger for more and more gives rise to new events, situations and challenges.
